Secrets and more!

I could go so many places with this blog post, so I will just start typing and see where it goes.

1. I recently realized that I had not shared an image of my other cute model (my son) since his newborn images. Well, here he is!!! We are working on the facial expressions...:). He sometimes gives me that "what is that big thing in front of your face look." He does smile. He is a happy little guy and I enjoy every minute with him.

2. I am a custom photographer. Custom photography is a luxury. Not everyone feels the need for custom photography, therefore, they have family portraits taken at a chain company in their area. Not everyone can afford custom photography. It is definitely one of the things the average family needs to save for. Similar to vacations or dinners at upscale restaurants.... What makes me a custom photographer? I shoot on location whenever possible. I prefer on location shoots. I capture the mood of the subjects, combined with the perfect location and lighting to create artwork that will last 100's of years. 3. I also wanted to do this blog post so that my readers really get a sense of what I do. I am not just showing up with a "good" camera and snapping for almost a hour. Believe me it is not the camera that is creating beautiful images. I am scouting locations, booking sessions, traveling to and from the session location, uploading images, sorting the images, editing individually each image I chose to show (editing...boy oh boy, I spend a lot of hours editing), preparing online galleries, processing print orders, making CD's and delivering prints. Did I miss something? Probably so... Below is an example of what I do from start to finish with all that other stuff I mentioned before, in between and after. I love what I do...and isn't my other model cute?
