First Day | First Grade

First, I need to apologize.  My blog has been neglected.  I know that there are several readers and followers out there that do not have facebook accounts.... and I must admit, facebook has taken over and become my go to place to share my images.  (If you do have a facebook account, please be sure to "like" my page here for the latest news and updates).

I am making a promise... to catch up this week.

My little girl started the first grade today.  She woke up super excited asking a lot of questions.  This was a new journey for her being that we moved over the summer and she was not only entering a new school but requesting to ride the bus for the first time.

I admire her so. She is super shy, but today, got off of her bus (my husband and I put her on the bus and met her at the bus ramp at school) and walked to her class with confidence.  I let her lead the way.... while whispering reminders as she strut proudly through the busy hall.  She reminds me a lot of myself... but I didn't find that place that I think she has found until my late teen years.

My Love, although you may be fearful on the inside, don't let it show on the outside... Keep strutting!
