Week 5: Did she really say Buff?

I really struggled with this weeks journey. Yes, this was a journey and a challenge. Marta Locklear really got me on this weeks assignment of Hue: Buff... Texture: Soft. I even had to google buff. According to Wikipedia, "Buff is a pale yellow-brown colour that got its name from the colour of buff leather." I went from thinking about photographing the newest addition to my family, my sister's "buff" Sheba Inu puppy. Then I thought about how I am soooooo not an animal lover. Next, I went around my house collecting "buff and soft" teddy bears. BOOORING!!! But I continually was drawn to this plant. I started to see them everywhere. During most of my sightings, I was camera-less. My husband lovingly always says, "you're not a real photographer" when I mention seeing something worth photographing and I didn't have my camera. I went back to one of the spots with my camera in tow.
