She's 4!
Dear Daughter,
Four years ago today at 10:18 a.m. you arrived. I still can hear your cry; I remember the smells from that moment and my first words when I saw you. You were a feisty five pound newborn girl and so perfect. You had the most beautiful bright red lips, the perfect amount of hair and the cutest little nose.
Today, you are still feisty yet a quiet observer, smart and loving. Since I can go on and on with descriptions of you, my favorite model, I decided to do a little interview with you so that you can get a feel years from now what kind of little girl you were:
1. What is your favorite color?
"Red!"
(But later changes to pink.)
2. What is your favorite food?
"Pizza, Mommy, when can we eat pizza again?"
3. What is your favorite thing to do with Mommy?
"...play, make flowers and take pictures."
(that's my girl!)
4. What is your favorite thing to do with Daddy?
"ride bikes"
5. What do you like about being a big sister?
"I have someone to play with but I think I want a 3 year old girl and maybe we can play with tea pots."
(ummm, its a little too late for a 3 year old sister...lol)
6. Who is our President?
"Barak Obama"
7. ...And where does he live?
"in the White House. Can we go see him?"
8. What do you like to do?
"color, sing and I love you!" (as she points to me...so sweet! I told you she was loving.)
9. What do you want for your birthday?
"100 babies and I can take care of them all by myself!"
10. .... How are you going to take care of 100 babies?
"Mommy! One at a time. I will take care of one, then the next one, and the next one, and the next one, and the next one......."
(and that went on about another 30 seconds!)
Happy Birthday!
♥,
Mommy
