Welcome!

My name is Candice! I am a wife and mother. Since my early days in college, I have always been the person to have a camera nearby to capture random moments. I had the film (or a disposable camera!) ready and loaded to take pictures of pranks we played or my roommates and I dolled up for a party. It was not until after my daughter was born in 2007 that I wanted to take picture taking to the next level. I wanted to learn how to turn my pictures into artistic memories. On Mother’s Day of 2008, my husband surprised me with a brand new shiny Canon DSLR. Photography quickly became an obsession and passion!

Kaci's 30th | Short Pump | Glen Allen, Virginia | Couple's Photographer

Friday, I sat at my desk, feeling relieved that my blog was caught up.  It wasn't until today, that I realized that I had not shared my last session of 2012.  This session was something totally different for me and I am in LOVE with so many images.  Different because it was inspired by the 1980's movie Sixteen Candles...different because it was held in an awesome INDOOR location and different because I used studio lighting.  Kaci and I had planned this since late summer and I wanted her session to be perfect!

 I loved working with these two and I LOVE capturing -love! Here are a few of my favorites...
